I started creating a Sisters of Battle fleet for the game 'Battlefleet Gothic' so I can use my favourite 40k army in that game against my brother.
the basic idea behind the backstory is that the ships are not warships and so don't have a lot of weapons, instead they rely on acts of faith to literally and miraculously burn heretic ships  that get close and protect them from harm. The ships are just spaceborne Convents that recruite and train Sisters and don't have a actuel fighting purpose.

i have played around with creating BFG rules for Star Trek and Star Wars ships
this is all just a rough idea that I wanted to show people.

Yabusame
Picture done by sicarius8.deviantart.com/
I love Hungarian,Hindu and Japanese cultures and histories and this is a picture I commissioned that I love looking at, with the elegant sight of Akita castle in the background and the Beautiful Yabusame horsewoman amongst the trees it just shows some of the things I love about Japanese culture.

Th Yabusame get their origins after the start of the Kamakura period in Japan around the 1200s when the 1st shogun grew concerned with his samurai's lack of archery skills.
So in order for them to practice and perfect their skills at using the bow he created the Yabusame as a form of sport or ritual where the samurai horsemen would ride down a a track at high speed and shoot his/her bow at targets. They would control the horse with their  knees.
the practice began to die out a little when armies like the Portuguese brought gunpowder into battle agaist the Japanese in the late 1500s but it had a resurgence at a later time during peace and is still practiced today by men and women who have had the chance to display their amazing skills to people like the president of the United States and even British royalty.

Not quite hidden dragon
Excuse the quality, This is just a quick drawing to serve as a concept for a new superheroine for the DG. How this character came to be is a little bit of a small story but basically i got inspired when I was talking to another deviant... This character lives in Japan in a city called Akita, I chose Akita instead of Tokyo because I now know 2 deviants from there and after reading up about it a little it's my most favourite area of Japan plus they can visit Tokya now again to battle a villain and wreck the place :)

In this picture you have a Japanese schoolgirl called Sora she is the younger sister of another schoolgirl called Sayake. Sora is using her powers to teleport the fire to hit the dragon.  Sora is able to use teleportation to obviously travel places but also to teleport incoming bullets and attacks and teleport criminals into custody. Her sister Sayake is a champion of martial arts and she protects Sora and fights villains especially those who can't be teleported.

These SuperSisters live in the city and keep their nighttime activities a secret from their parents.
I plan on posting a better picture later at the moment this is all just a concept. I would like to thank sicarius8 for all the help :)

Jet Force Gemini version of captain Orsi
This is the first picture I've done since breaking my hand and I like how it turned out mostly. I just fancied creating different versions of a Character I use for Star Trek stories (captain Laura Pearl Orsi) in this version she is part of the Jet Force and she commands a heavy cruiser. This universe is from one of my favourite games ever, it's called Jet Force Gemini and it was a N64 game were you fight armies of Ants and Beatles . I plan on doing a Cpt Orsi for the Empire from Star Wars , the Imperial navy from Battlefleet Gothic and some others.
